I've been incredibly slack with my camera lately. I wanted to take this break in original content to share with you a couple of pretty special blogs I enjoy.

First of all, my friend and personal style icon, Lauren of Southern Strut.

Lauren and I at our friend's (her sister in-law's) wedding last March.

This girl gets it right: Every. Single. Time. She has impeccable fashion sense and can spot a gem in an op-shop from a mile away, I'm sure of it. She has some great original outfit ideas and her wardrobe is full of interesting histories (she's a good one to have at a clothes swap, let me tell you). She's quick-witted and fun and, you guys, she's getting married (she and her fiance got engaged on this trip)! The wedding is in March and I am so freakin' excited - she's done so much of the decorating and planning herself and I'm excited to see two of my favourite people get married. Follow along with her wedding planning adventures here, or find stylish musings here.

The second is Georgia, from wherever we find ourselves. May I start by saying she has paid me some of the nicest compliments I've ever received about my blog? It's so ingratiating to gain the approval of someone intelligent whose creativity you admire. I love her honest writing style, and while I find myself nodding along with many of her posts, one in particular really resonated with me. She's giving voice to (what probably should be) simple daily tasks that I struggle with quite frequently - she's acknowledged the difficulty in becoming an adult and granted us 20-somethings respect for our tribulations.

This incredibly kind human being is also graciously offering her coding services for blog redesigns! She's in the process of making sweet nothings a more aesthetically-pleasing place to visit, and she couldn't have been more spot-on in realising my requests. Read her witty and artfully written words here, and if you'd fancy a free redesign, email her at georgia at whereverwefindourselves dot com. No catch, honest!

Do you have any blog-friends doing exciting things? Forward them through - I love excitement!
